Market research by training. Cut his teeth in the beer industry through the 1980s — Molson, Drummond, Labatt — running sponsorship relationships with the Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Eskimos. BC Lottery Corporation followed in the early '90s, then consulting for the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, and Travel Alberta. Started buying domain names in the late '90s and has sold hundreds since — a regular at industry conferences.
Electrical and electronics engineering out of the University of Calgary. Nearly two decades on the technical side of the domain business — hosting, WordPress builds, marketing automation, and, more recently, AI. At Digified Media he leads strategy, development, and the AI systems that keep the portfolio running. Also the founder of CityOfCalgary.com and a growing hyper-local network with a dedicated site for each of Calgary's 219 communities.
